Product Lessons I've learned and our new product for data synchronization

Presenters:

Time/Date/Location:

9:00 to 10:00 AM, Friday

Room: EK Suite

Overview:

We have been building products for the last 10 years or so.  In that time we have come up with some pretty helpful tips and rules for building a successful product. I'll share the 11 that I feel are best, and some ways they helped us shape our newest product dealing with data synchronization. A demonstration for the product as it is nearing completion and the ways the rules affected it's development will be shared.

This will be in the presentation and guided discussion format, but feel free to be prepared any information along the same lines you have found helpful.

I know we did not get as far with the demonstration of the synchronization product as some would have liked. If anyone is interested in participating in the beta program of the new product, just let me know at court@clevelandconsulting.com

One thing I am really hoping to accomplish, as the day draws near, is to find out if our realizations are useful. So in showing our synchronization product I am hoping that some community feedback on weather or not we have succeeded in taking the correct approach will arise. I think we have a product that has place in the FileMaker community, but in showing an early build, and discussing how and why we made many of our decisions, I am hoping to learn even more about the process, and what we may be able do to improve what we already have.
