Everyone should come away from this session with at least one "aha" that can be put to use immediately.

Bring your favorite tips, tricks, and techniques to share.

That you for the tip. I'll present it at our next meeting of Kentuckiana FileMaker Users Group. - Brian

That's a cool Mac tip. It works because you're getting to an actual menu item: View > Go to layout. That means that in Layout mode, you'll be able to go to all layouts, but in Browse the layout has to be included in the layout menu.

Taking it to the next level, Ctrl-F2 focuses the menu bar. You can then type the first letter or two of a menu name, or use arrow keys; then hit enter or down arrow to display menu. I.e. Ctrl-F2, then H, then down, then start typing the layout name. (Might be easier/faster to just click.)

File is coming later this week.

@Chiyoko: you aren't crazy, but it's not likely to be included unless Tom added it post-session. This only works on 10.5+. Go into layout mode, click on the Help Menu, and use the search box to quickly find any layout by name. You are going to love this one!

Looking forward to that download file. Trying to remember some tip to use spotlight to search layout names? Or was I crazy? : ) Thanks for presenting Tom = very useful stuff.
