FileMaker Wish List

Page history last edited by John Sindelar 1 year, 9 months ago

Creative people always want FileMaker to do MORE! But we're not very patient so when we need to extend the power of FileMaker we make our plugins. This session will be about brainstorming a FileMaker wishlist and talking through solutions that you can implement now.  We'd like the group to talk about their wishlist and talk about how we can solve problems directly using plugins, webservices, and other 3rd party solutions.

Here is the Google Wave list. I will invite everybody who adds their address here to the Wish List wave page.

DO NOT ADD COMMENTS, RATHER ADD YOUR EMAIL in BOLD for both if you have a Wave account to the Wave list below or the "don't have" list below. We will go through the lists on occasion and add you guys accordingly. This also goes for the people who addedd comments, please just add yourself to one of the lists below. Thank you, Agnes Riley.

If you already have a Google Wave account, please enter your address here, or e-mail it to me if you don't want to post your e-mail:

  • <list of emails >

If you do not have a Google Wave account, please enter you address below, or e-mail it to me if you don't want to post your e-mail. (Jesse ran out of Wave invites, so I took over.)

After you get a Google wave account, be sure to ADD IT to the LIST ABOVE THIS ONE so that somebody can add you to the discussion.

Bruce, it seems like Google Wave is the perfect venue for this sort of web-based discussion. However, I do agree with you that it's straining under the weight. The scroll bar behavior is particularly annoying.

Google wave thing was a good try but pretty much unusable now as I experience it. Takes 10 minutes to load and there is no way to find the latest message or to track individual topics except scroll through the whole mess.

Can someone explain why a google wave account is required to discuss something of general interest to the Pause and Filemaker community?
